Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method.
It was first developed in the United States in 1875 and it is
the only procedure recognized and approved by the
American Medical Association
and the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

A professional and skilled electrologist inserts a fine probe
alongside the hair in the follicle. Then a small amount of electrical current or heat is applied to destroy the hair papilla (root) so each hair can then be easily removed. Since hair grows in stages, additional growth may reappear, but subsequent follow-up visits and adhering to a treatment plan will result in permanency.
